The
Profile of Academic & Study Skills (PASS) is not like
most other study skills questionnaires. It has been designed to be
used as part of a comprehensive assessment, counseling, and placement
program. It can aid counselors, faculty, and students in making decisions
about their academic programs, in referring students to college services,
and in teaching study skills classes. The PASS and its scoring options
have been designed by college faculty in; english, reading, ESL, mathematics,
study skills and computer science. The PASS is also used by many High
School programs. There is ASAP software
available for PASS reporting. The PASS is fully automated using ASAP
(Window's or DOS) that reads the scan form with a Scantron or NCS
scanner, creates reports and is customizable. If you decide to use
ASAP you must purchase a site license with CAPP Associates.
